Day 2 - Columbia Historic Park
Map Columbia State Historic Park is three miles north of Sonora, off Highway 49. The parks address is 11255 Jackson Street Columbia CA, 95310.
The town's old Gold Rush-era business district has been preserved with shops, restaurants and two hotels. Visitors have the chance to time-travel to the 1850s, imagining life when gold miners rubbed shoulders with businessmen and the other residents in Columbia. Visitors can experience a bygone era watching proprietors in period clothing conduct business in the style of yesterday. There are opportunities to ride a 100 year-old stagecoach, pan for gold, and explore the real working businesses of Columbia. Website
Day 2 - Moaning Cavern
Map - This popular 45-minute tour into the cave is suitable for the whole family. Professionally guided, the tour descends through well-lighted marble passages into the magnificent natural wonder. Descending down 235 stairs to a depth of 165 feet below the surface, the tour ends on the spot where scientific excavations revealed the bones of prehistoric people who had fallen into the cavern thousands of years ago.Guides explain the history and geology of the cavern, and discuss the explorations that have traced the cavern to its current depth of 410 feet. - Website

Day 4 Delores Park

Day 5 - Historic Streetcars
Map - San Francisco's Municipal Railway has assembled one of the most diverse collections of vintage streetcars, trolleys, and trams in transit service anywhere. Up to 20 of these vintage vehicles carry passengers along Market Street and The Embarcadero every day. Click on a streecar image to learn about that car. - Website
Day 5 - Exploratorium
Map - Pier 15 (Embarcadero @ Green St.) San Francisco, CA 94111. Step inside a tornado, turn upside down in a curved mirror, walk on a fog bridge, and explore more than 650 hands-on exhibits. Day 5 - Pier 39 / Fishermans Wharf
Map - Head to PIER 39 to explore a variety of attractions exclusive to The PIER. Sail the Bay aboard one of PIER 39's many water attractions, then discover 20,000 local sea creatures at Aquarium of the Bay. You can also enjoy free daily shows by local street performers at the Carousel Stage, as well as musicians in the PIER 39 Entrance Plaza. - Website

Day 5 - Cable Cars
Map - Cable cars are a historic symbol recognized around the globe and offer real working transportation up the steep hills of San Francisco. The cable cars begin their runs at 6 a.m. and continue until midnight. You can download our printable cable car map, with all of the stops and top areas or a full San Francisco map. The (very popular) cable cars generally run about every 10 minutes. - Website

Day 7 - Elephant Seals
Map - The Piedras Blancas elephant seal rookery spreads over 6 miles of shoreline around Point Piedras Blancas on the central coast of California. The viewing areas are located 90 miles south of Monterey, 5 miles north of Hearst Castle State Historical Monument in San Simeon, 1.5 miles south of Point Piedras Blancas. The viewing areas are open every day of the year, are wheelchair accessible, and free. No reservations required. _ Website
Day 7 - Moonstone Beach
Map - Moonstone Beach is along Moonstone Beach Drive which parallels Highway 1 in northern Cambria, California. The shoreline here is made up of brown sandy coves separated by rocky headlands. At the back of the beach are large drift logs and rocks to rest on. - Website
